NDS finds itself uniquely positioned at the forefront of one of the most important technological advancements of this century. As a leader in the UAS/UAV field, NDS has been involved in beta testing of aircraft platforms, flight control systems as well as camera and camera stabilization systems.
Unmanned aerial systems provide mankind with an unparalleled perspective on our world. They also provide practical safety, time and cost saving opportunities in construction, industrial inspection, agriculture, environmental stewardship and emergency response management. UAS’s have revolutionized the life-saving capabilities of First Responders. While we have yet to fully comprehend all of the advantages that UAS technology can provide -- there is no doubt that as the future comes into focus NDS will be leading the way.
UAS TRAINING
NDS has crafted training curricula designed specifically for today’s professional sUAS pilots and air crew. These UAS courses are developed in partnership with our industry and government clients to offer the most practical applications flight training possible.
All of our courses provide attendees with the skills necessary to operate UAS and develop the skill sets maximize mission readiness and effectiveness. NDS course attendees receive hands-on flight training in areas such as advanced cinematography, aerial observation and terrain mapping, flight maneuvers, accident scene reconstruction, search and rescue, and night operations. In addition to flight training, students receive a broad foundation in best practices for UAS operations, Federal Aviation Administration regulatory guidance for law enforcement agencies and first responders as well as the use of software tools for extracting actionable data from UAS operations.
We offer a variety of customizable training courses for emergency service personnel in law enforcement, fire-fighting, search and rescue, disaster response, hazardous material teams and other emergency services who are interested in utilizing UAV’s/drones in their operations. Rapidly deployable, drones are a must have tool for first responders. UAV’s/Drones have helped locate missing people, assisted firefighters by surveying burning buildings, tracked and located suspects for law enforcement and investigated dangerous and inaccessible areas without risk to human life.
All of our training is conducted in real-world challenging environments giving students valuable (hands-on-the-controls) operational experience.
